Negotiation of lead-time

In order to deliver furniture at the best time for the customer, we try our best to agree with the factories on the optimal production time.

Our suppliers have the declared standard production times for all products, which we focus on when working with a project. However, depending on the volume of the order, the selected standard or non-standard dimensions and finishes of furniture, as well as during European holidays and the season of summer closure of factories, the production time may vary. In addition to the production period, the delivery time may also be affected by whether the order is shipped separately or consolidated with other orders. All these nuances are discussed in detail in advance and agreed with the customer.

We always strive to negotiate production times with factories. However, there is furniture which is manufactured by using manual work. Also, some natural materials — wood, marble, stone, leather — require certain processing cycles. It is impossible to speed up such production processes without losing quality. «Haste makes waste», our suppliers say in such cases. We respect this policy, expecting suppliers to provide the best product quality for our customers and negotiating the necessity of longer lead-time.

Delivery time is one of the most important points of the contract with the customer, so after the order is entered into production, it is important for us to monitor the fulfillment of the agreed lead-times by the factory in constant communication with the supplier.
