Tulip lounge
Tulip is a line of chairs created by the renowned American designer Jeffrey Bernett. These exceptionally comfortable and flexible pieces of furniture have been produced by B&B Italia since 2008 as part of the Project collection.
The chairs from the Tulip line are offered in two versions: Tulip Sixty and Tulip Sixtysix. Tulip Sixtysix is the larger version designed for lounges and waiting rooms. It is a revolving chair provided with a disc support of polished brushed aluminium. Tulip Sixty is a smaller version, that has dimensions more closely resembling those of a chair. It is a perfect armchair for meeting and dining rooms, for guests or hotel rooms.
The frame of the chairs rests on two kinds of bases: with four spokes of die-cast aluminium or a tripod of polished chromed steel wire. The internal frame upholstery is made of flexible cold shaped polyurethane foam Bayfit with a polyester fibre cover while the seat cushion upholstery is produced from shaped polyurethane of different density with a polyester fibre cover.
