In 2007 B&B Italia created a line of executive office systems AC Executive as part of the Project collection. The systems were designed by the well-known Italian architect, furniture and industrial designer Antonio Citterio.
The AC Executive line offers a wide range of wood-based furniture for executive offices, meeting rooms and home offices. The collection consists of desks, file storage units, credenzas and bookcases. The tables include cable management for computer hardware, other elements have lockable drawer options for suspended filing and wardrobe elements for coat storage.
The AC Executive office desks are produced using only high-quality materials. The top of the desk can be made of solid wood and wood particles panel or plywood panel with honeycomb-core and MDF wood fibre. The base frame of the desk is constructed from bright chromed drawn steel while the adjustable feet are of steel and plastic material. Drawers are made of wood particles panel, multilayered wood panel, veneered: oak or ebony while the file holder support is made of drawn steel. The finishes are available in glass, metal or woods, whose color range includes Brushed Light Oak, Smoked Stained Oak and Grey Oak.
