Posa lounge
In 2008 B&B Italia released a line of seating elements Posa as part of the Project collection. The series has been created by the renowned British architect and designer David Chipperfield.
The Posa collection was designed as a versatile, robust seating which would meet rigorous usage requirements and at the same time create a sense of refined luxury. The seating series has been planned for the museums and is finished in leather. This line of research explored by the author has been combined with the theme of obtaining comfortable soft seating from thin upholstered sections applied to a light and dynamic structure, using advanced industrial production techniques.
The base of the product is made of bright brushed aluminium and the internal frame upholstery is made of the flexible cold shaped polyurethane foam Bayfit, shaped polyurethane with a polyester fibre cover. The cover of the Posa collection is offered in leather or fabric available in a wide array of colors.
