The Julep family of upholstered furniture from the Italian brand Tacchini was created in 2018 by the Swedish designer Jonas Wagell. The soft, enveloping shapes that characterize the collection Julep were influenced by the 1950s Avant-Garde movement, when simple forms were given a refined romantic charm.
Star of the series is the Sofa, whose generous rounded lines provided evolutionary DNA for other models of the family: the Chaise-longue, the Armchair, the Island and the Ottoman of two sizes. Fully upholstered seats look ample and full, yet convey a sense of lightness thanks to the recessed base that invisibly lifts them off the floor. Designed mainly for home interiors, the Julep collection is also loved by designers and architects who design contract interiors, in which soft comfort and unique style are important.
