Slot is a collection of stackable, versatile, handy, elegant and refined chairs and stools. The line is produced by Gaber, an Italian manufacturer of high repute, that specializes in plastics, combined with metal, wood and upholstery. The collection offers a wide choice of chairs and stools for public places such as canteens, cafes, restaurants and food-courts. The design of the Moema line was created the Italian design and architecture studio Favaretto&Partners.
Slot means opening cut, slit, cleft. And this chair takes its name due to this reason: the design creates the perception of a back suspended «in the air». The product then uses a blend of transparent technopolymer, which, almost imperceptibly, joins the seat to the backrest. The Slot collection has been developed in three main sizes and a family of stools, all of them in many different versions and finishes. Slot is suitable for various uses: from community areas to modern offices, from residential to break-out.
The Slot stool is part of the chair collection, sharing simple and multi-functional design that makes it ideal for contract or community environments. Slot stools are available on four legs, with either metal or timber frames, and at two different heights. The padded and upholstered version is enhanced with feature stitchwork, whilst maintaining the essential design aspects of the Slot family.
