USH «Druzhba» in Luzhniki
Concept implemented a project to supply telescopic bleachers and seats for the Universal sports hall «Druzhba» on the territory of the «Luzhniki» sports complex.
In 2024, a large-scale project for the reconstruction of the Universal Sports Hall «Druzhba» in Luzhniki was completed. The famous historical «Seashell», as «Druzhba» is called for its original architectural exterior, was built for the XXII Summer Olympic Games in 1980. Since then, the sports infrastructure of the complex have largely become outdated, and in 2018 a major reconstruction project was launched: the task was to preserve the exterior of the building and completely replace its «filling».
Today’s «Druzhba», with an area of 16,650 square meters, houses a large central hall, three sports halls, medical offices, a conference room, a press center, a cafe, and administrative offices.
A unique transformer system has been installed in the central universal hall for 3078 seats: automated telescopic bleachers with the possibility of extending from 1 to 9 rows. You can use the entire platform if you plan to have a lot of fans, or only part of it — this allows you to free up space for various mass events.
The supply and installation of telescopic bleachers and seats was carried out by the Concept company. Ergonomic seats with a modern «sporty» design are made of innovative high-strength vandal-proof materials for heavy loads and long service life. The telescopic bleachers are equipped with a high-tech electric drive system, so that the bleachers automatically slide in or slide out in 3 minutes just with the push of a button.
