The Riff sofa from the Danish brand NORR11 was created by Danish designers Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl. The word Riff comes from the world of jazz music, and means «to borrow and elaborate on». The Riff sofa is a modern interpretation of the classic modular sofa. The lamella upholstery adds a certain rythme to the minimalistic sofa modules, and turns the modular sofa into a refined piece of furniture.
Modular elements of the Riff (straight and corner sections with right-hand and left-hand armrests, ottoman, large and small cushions) allow creating the sofa of a desired size and configuration for home and public interiors. There is a choice of elegant colours of fabric upholstery; it is also possible to order the sofa in leather upholstery.
